Dua Lipa is a Brit artist/singer who was born in London United Kingdom on August 22nd 1995. Her debut self-titled album debuted in 2017 after she had signed with Warner Bros Records. The album climbed up to the third place on the U.K. Chart for Albums. There were eight songs released including Be The Only I.D.G.A.F. as well as New Rules (UK number one). It also peaked at the number 6 spot on the charts in the United States. The album, which has now been certified platinum in a variety of countries across the world has won the two Brit Awards (in 2018) in the categories of British Female Single Artist and British Breakthrough Artist. Dua Lipa was conceived by London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). By way of her maternal grandparents Dua Lipa, she is Bosnian. Additionally, you can trace back her ancestors in the Kosovo village of Peja. Lipa's grand-fathers were both history professors. They have a brother Gjin Lipa, and a younger sister Rina. Lipa was musically influenced by her father, who was the guitarist and singer in the Kosovan rock band Oda. In her home, Lipa's father would play music from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Stereophonics The Police Stereophonics. Lipa began singing at the age of 5 years old. When she was nine, she began to learn how to sing. Lipa recorded the song If I Ain't Got You by Alicia Keys and Beautiful by Christina Aguilera for YouTube. Lipa was offered a recording contract from Warner Bros. Records in 2014. Her debut song New Love was released on August 15th, 2015.
