Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
When she was initially inspired by the shadows she observed on the grass of trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out to develop a technique which did not depict the subject in a 2-dimensional picture. In this way, the selected subject is transformed into an image of itself. This is especially true when using living items or those that will perish like fruit or even humans. Her ephemeral painterly style is obvious and the only thing that remains in Alexa Meade's work is the photograph. Both the painting and photographic techniques are so closely coordinated that the end result is a flat, two dimensional space that achieves trompe-l'oeil. In this, the third dimension is only visible in specific areas, such as near the eyes or in hair. Sometimes, Meade integrates her painted models into the three-dimensional environment around them, which allows them to interact within their own self-created environment. Through this, Meade has removed the borders between painting, photography and performing.
