Lis Wiehl works as an American journalist and legal analyst who used to be a Fox News analyst.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, and formerly was an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentary for National Public Radio and Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly, The Kelly File with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl is a Yakima native, who attended West Valley High School. She earned a bachelor's degree at Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 and then an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl served as prosecutor for the US Attorney's Office. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues on the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief investigatory attorney for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's administration. She taught law as a tenured professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle which she was the manager of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 until 2001. Wiehl worked as an Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
